Raiders session - 30 November 2014

The regular session this week has been replaced by a Go-Racing event with our sister club - Dorking Raiders.  Please see below for details from John and Tim Sales:

The normal planned session at Furzefield School on Sunday 30 November would have seen you with just the one coach - myself.

But instead, as it happens, there is something more challenging now on the cards.... namely another Go-Ride racing morning organised by Dorking Raiders... well the person to thank for the hard work is Graham Baker as he's got quite a healthy appetite for these things.

So our session at Furzefield that day is cancelled.

Those of you who went to compete against Dorking Raiders back in July, then can expect something similar again on Sunday 30 November.

Tim Sales, who covers our area as the British Cycling's Go-Ride specialist coach, has drawn up a colourful flyer - please find attached.

Do come and whizz about on the grass.

There are two secondary schools in Dorking.

The obvious one to spot is right opposite the railway station.... but that's not the one we'll be using.

Instead, Priory School is more tucked away.

Imagine you are planning to go up Leith Hill out of the town, you come out of the one-way system by turning left and then immediately right.

That puts you onto the road leading to Coldharbour and its got high walls and overhanging tees.

Within 50m there is a yellow hatched box on the tarmac and a road to the right.... that's the one leading to Priory School.
